USPGA Golf Betting 2011
Betting for the 2011 USPGA Golf Championship
2011 PGA on the Horizon
The golf season begins to wind down as the summer ends — but not before an exciting conclusion to the majors is reached at the annual USPGA Championship tournament.
The 2011 USPGA will take place, this year, at the Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, Georgia. Players will head to the historic Johns Creek links for Monday, 8th August, getting ready for a week packed with stiff competition and the chance to make their mark on 2011. Because the USPGA Championship is held every year, providing a finale to the majors, it is usually referred to as the “last shot for glory” for professional players — an event that closes out the year by marking some of the pros to follow in the future.
Established winners and professional hopefuls will be vying for the chance to win at the 2011 USPGA, hoping to secure the spot taken last year by Germany’s Martin Kaymer at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin. Kaymer’s 2010 USPGA win followed on the success of South Korea’s Yang Yong-eun at Hazeltine National Golf Club, Minnesota in 2009 and Padraig Harrington’s victory (ending Tiger Woods’ reign over the tournament) at Oakland Hills Country Club, Michegan in 2008. This year’s winner, like with previous years, will enjoy special privileges that end up working toward a more secure and profitable future in the golfing world.
The 2011 USPGA Championship is scheduled to take place from 8th-14th August, 2011.
