Keen-eyed poker players have been able to enjoy a surplus of opportunities to prove their skills through online satellites and win their way into this year’s World Series of Poker (WSOP). The latest offer comes from Everest Poker and Austria’s Montesino Casino and will provide winners with entry to the WSOP’s illustrious Event 54.

Everest Poker has recently announced a partnership with Montesino Casino that will provide members of the site with an upcoming satellite event, hosted at the famous venue. Beginning on Friday, 1st June, Everest players will be able to enter into the two day Live Vegas Satellite for a €165 buy-in (and €150 re-buy option) and test their luck and skill against other live competitors, eager to win their way into the 2012 WSOP. This highly sought after prize package, valued at some $4,000, includes seven nights of accommodations in Las Vegas, airfare, $1,600 in spending cash and the $1,000 buy-in to the WSOP’s Event 54 (a three day No Limit Hold ‘Em Tournament scheduled to begin on 1st July). Everest Members can enter the Live Vegas Satellite by buying in directly or competing in a newly launched series of satellites (with buy-ins as low as $33) and freerolls.

Everest Poker told press that their goal was to “[make] it easier than ever to get to Las Vegas this summer” and, considering the generosity of the prize packages on offer, they certainly have done so. Everest Poker is looking to give poker players another shot at making their name and taking home some serious money through a brand new tournament series. The upcoming, land-based event has been named “The One” and will kick off this spring at one of Europe’s most beautiful and prestigious venues.

The One will take place in Monte Carlo over three days in late April, providing a number of fantastic tournaments for players to try their hand at. Everest Poker will feature a guaranteed one million euro prize pool and a €5,300 buy-in Main Event that is sure to draw the attention of dedicated competitors. Side events currently scheduled include a €25,000 No-Limit Hold’Em, €500 No-Limit Hold’Em Turbo and €1,000 Buy-In No-Limit Hold’em tournament. Everest has opened up direct buy-ins and has also launched online qualifiers (including a number of satellite freerolls) through its website. Plenty of talented amateurs will be able to attend The One through these qualifiers and Everest Poker is working hard to bring even more into the fold through prize packages (valued at €6,600) that will give lucky winners a trip to Monte Carlo along with accommodation, Main Event buy-in and airfare.

Everest Poker plans to instate The One as an annual event and hopes that it will go on to become an integral part of the yearly poker season. The tournament series takes place at Monte Carlo’s Salle Des Palmiers casino from 21st to 24th April, 2011.

The Everest Spanish Poker Tour’s Castellón leg is kicking off in just a few short months and, to celebrate, Everest Poker has been offering its site members a chance to get in on the action. Everest Poker has been sparking fan excitement with the announcement of their Everest Poker European Cup events. Even though the series doesn’t start off in earnest until a few more weeks from now, the Everest Poker network is garnering plenty of interest with a preliminary entry series for members of the site.

The EPEC Freeroll is coming up soon and is meant to act as an exciting kick-start for the upcoming, brick and mortar events themselves. The Freeroll winner will be rewarded with a trip to Sardinia on the Mediterranean for three nights of all-expense paid accommodations. Aside from a luxurious vacation itself the top placing Freeroll player will also receive paid entry to the €500 buy-in tournament. Lastly, the lucky competitor will be given €300 spending cash to help them enjoy their time at the games.

Interested players should log on today to take part in the wider range of events encompassed in the Everest Poker European Cup. The EPEC Freeroll takes place this Sunday, March 22nd at 2.30pm GMT and is available for all Everest members that have made the minimum deposit and collected at least 10 Everest Poker Summit Points from playing rake games. The 2009 European Cup itself takes place at the Chia Laguna Resort from May 8th to 10th and will host some two hundred players competing in the main event.
