Danish poker player, Jesper Hougaard
has been making waves within the
industry as he cleaned up at both the 2008 World Series of Poker and World Series
of Poker Europe. Hougaard
came to public attention with his stunning performance in Las Vegas
earlier this summer and has now further proved himself in
London.
The twenty-four year old established himself with a bracelet at the World Series of Poker in Vegas, taking first place in a $1,500 No-Limit Hold ‘Em tournament and walking away with a $610,304 cash-out. At the World Series of Poker Europe finals (held in Leicester Square, London) the gambler was also able to make a significant mark in the proceedings, winning first place at the £1,500 No-Limit Hold ‘Em tournament and adding £144,218 to his bankroll.
