PKR.Com Prepares Launch of New Website Software
Popular online gambling network, PKR.com, launched back in August of 2006 and, after four years of success in its industry, has decided to revamp its image with a software overhaul that will revitalize and improve its interface. The update looks to give site members an easier platform for their gaming by streamlining current features and adding others.
To celebrate its fourth anniversary, PKR.com has announced its Version 2.0 update, a facelift that seeks to improve both the aesthetics and functionality of its website. PKR.com’s Version 2.0 will include a brand new user interface that has been designed in accordance with collected user feedback. Players can expect to find a fresh-looking lobby that now comes equipped with helpful features like the “game finder wizard” — technology that makes it simple for users to locate their desired tournaments, titles and more. Other changes, included in the Version 2.0 update, include a new multi-tabling system that allows players to simultaneously run up to nine different tables at one time.
Leon Walters, PKR.com’s Chief Operating Officer, told press that Version 2.0 has been in the works for almost an entire year and that the company plans to launch the update as only the first step in an ongoing website improvement plan. PKR.com also revealed that it’s member roster now clocks in at an impressive 3.75 million registered players and that, since it’s 2006 launch, the site has provided nearly $3 million in freerolls.
