With winter fast approaching there’s never been a better time to escape to the Caribbean. Now, with the announcement of their latest promotion, Doyle’s Room is looking to help send a few lucky players to the Dominican Republic for this November’s $100,000 Punta Cana Poker Classic.
Weekly tournaments have already opened for Doyle’s Room players to enter. Each of these Texas hold ‘em tournaments allows competitors to vie for one of the many Punta Cana Poker Classic prize packages recently made available. Each Sunday Doyle’s Room has $162 buy-in tournaments (beginning at 4pm EST) that award winners with the aforementioned prize. The Punta Cana entry package is valued at $3,100 and includes a $1,100 buy-in, $1,000 for travel expenses and four nights of accommodations at the all-inclusive Moon Palace Casino, Golf and Spa Resort. Daily satellites that provide winners with access to the weekly Punta Cana tournaments have also begun and feature $11 buy-ins.
Competition is sure to be tough as Doyle’s Room members battle it out for access to a fantastic vacation and poker event but, if you’re unable to win a spot for this year don’t despair: Doyle Brunson told press that this year’s tournament promotion may be a precursor to Doyle’s Room taking on the role of official sponsor to future Punta Cana Poker Classic events. The 2010 Punta Cana Poker Classic takes place from 10th to 14th November and will see Brunson and DoylesRoom.com pro players in attendance.
