UK Resident Wins First European Championship of Bingo

PaddyPower.Com’s first official European Championship of Bingo saw British contestant, Robert Robinson take home the title (and cash prize) and emerge triumphant among the enormous volume of players. Over six hundred Europeans vied for first place during the games which went above and beyond the participation which Paddy expected for their first try at such a large event.
Robinson hails from Nottinghamshire, England and told press that he spent a lot of time trying to qualify for entry into the European Championship. PaddyPower originally conceived the idea of a massive bingo tournament as a way to divert punter’s attention during English absence in the Euro 2008 football games.
While diehards may still have been watching feeds from the final games in Austria and Switzerland, Robinson was busier working toward the June 29th championship.
