Everest Poker Launches 2012 World Series of Poker Promotion

As the 2012 World Series of Poker (WSOP) looms closer and closer, many online poker sites are offering up opportunities for talented players to win their way to the illustrious event. The latest WSOP themed promotion comes from Everest Poker and will see a number of the site’s members heading to Las Vegas to take part in this year’s festivities.

The new promo series from Everest is designed with getting skilled competitors on their way toward the World Series of Poker, the biggest event of the poker season. Everest’s offering takes the form of weekly, Monday events that give players with even the smallest bankrolls a chance at proving their skills at the 2012 WSOP. These weekly events come are set at a standard $109 buy-in, but can also be entered through satellites (from as low as $1.50 buy-ins) or by cashing at tournaments like the $1 Steps Sit and Go. Winners will receive a fabulous prize package (valued at $4,000) that includes seven nights of accommodations at either the Palazzo or Venetian hotels in Las Vegas (worth $1,400), airfare, $700 in cash and, most importantly, buy-in to the 2012 WSOP’s Event 54.

A statement from Everest Poker sold the promotion as a great way to “become the next world poker champion” by competing in “the ultimate live tournament.” Event 54 is a three day no-limit hold ‘em tournament with buy-ins set at $1,000. It will kick off on 1st July at noon with Everest Poker hopefuls eligible to win their prize packages from now until 11th June.

Everest Poker Launches The One, a Brand New Land-Based Tournament

Everest Poker is looking to give poker players another shot at making their name and taking home some serious money through a brand new tournament series. The upcoming, land-based event has been named “The One” and will kick off this spring at one of Europe’s most beautiful and prestigious venues.

The One will take place in Monte Carlo over three days in late April, providing a number of fantastic tournaments for players to try their hand at. Everest Poker will feature a guaranteed one million euro prize pool and a €5,300 buy-in Main Event that is sure to draw the attention of dedicated competitors. Side events currently scheduled include a €25,000 No-Limit Hold’Em, €500 No-Limit Hold’Em Turbo and €1,000 Buy-In No-Limit Hold’em tournament. Everest has opened up direct buy-ins and has also launched online qualifiers (including a number of satellite freerolls) through its website. Plenty of talented amateurs will be able to attend The One through these qualifiers and Everest Poker is working hard to bring even more into the fold through prize packages (valued at €6,600) that will give lucky winners a trip to Monte Carlo along with accommodation, Main Event buy-in and airfare.

Everest Poker plans to instate The One as an annual event and hopes that it will go on to become an integral part of the yearly poker season. The tournament series takes place at Monte Carlo’s Salle Des Palmiers casino from 21st to 24th April, 2011.

Everest Poker European Cup Hosts Exciting Freeroll

Everest Poker has been sparking fan excitement with the announcement of their Everest Poker European Cup events. Even though the series doesn’t start off in earnest until a few more weeks from now, the Everest Poker network is garnering plenty of interest with a preliminary entry series for members of the site.
