Thew finished seventh in the UK Online Poker Series’ main event and first place at the series’ leaderboard competition. The other major winner was James ‘LIAMESL’ Williams won the main event and earned a staggering £15,714. In all, the UK Online Poker Series paid out £218,170 across its participants.
Sky Poker was thrilled by the popularity of its first UK Online Poker Series and announced plans for a second edition in 2012 as well as a miniature version scheduled to take place sometime in December of this year.
